A bald man with a levitating dog and no life experience makes a phone call. A suspicious cat observes the sunlight glinting off a faraway tower. A chick with a guitar in her trunk shreds an epic solo during a traffic jam. And through it all, an expressionless young man journals and doodles.

The Book of Osh pa Gaup begins as a series of non-sequitur vignettes set in and around New York City, but over time each of these misfit characters becomes an integral part of the plot as they spin closer and closer to the center of a strange mystery—something about an island, a book, a group of alien emissaries, and a disappearing neighbor.

Part One of the series culminates in Mrs. Eshelman, a fully animated, hand-drawn, eight-minute short that digs deep into the series lore as the different narrative strands start to come together. Mrs. Eshelman was an official selection of The Rising Sun International Film Festival in Karatsu, Japan, as well as festivals in New York, San Francisco, and Paris.
